Solution of the reaction–diffusion system at time \(t=5\) solved using CutFEM inside a 3 dimensional pop corn shape. From top to bottom from left to right \([\mathrm {GLC}]\), \([\mathrm {ATP}]\), \([\mathrm {ADP}]\), \([\mathrm {GLY}]\), \([\mathrm {PYR}]\), \([\mathrm {LAC}]\). The \(\mathrm {GLC}\) is diffusing into the domain starting from the influx location. \(\mathrm {ATP}\) and \(\mathrm {ADP}\) are consumed and produced by the reaction \(\mathrm {act}\). \(\mathrm {GLY}\) is produced by \(\mathrm {HXK}\) and \(\mathrm {PYR}\) produced by \(\mathrm {PYRK}\)
